About these terms

These terms govern ARK Care plans, managed antivirus and cloud backup subscriptions supplied by ARK Computer Repair Limited (company number 12870739), Unit 13 Palmerston Business Park, Palmerston Drive, Fareham, PO14 1DJ. By subscribing you accept these terms.

Your subscription

• Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
• You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your account. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period unless we agree otherwise.
• Cancelling stops future payments; payments already taken for the current period are not refunded except where required by law.

What we provide

• ARK Care plans include the monitoring, antivirus, patching, support priority and labour discounts described on the plan you choose.
• Managed antivirus includes licensing and management for the number of devices in your plan.
• Cloud backup includes the storage allowance and device count in your plan, stored in the United Kingdom. Additional storage or devices are chargeable.
• Remote setup, where purchased, is a one-off service booked at a time that suits you.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials secure.
• Ensure devices are switched on and connected so monitoring, updates and backups can run.
• Check periodically that your backups are completing, and tell us promptly if they are not.
• Use the services lawfully and only on devices you own or are authorised to manage.

Fair use and exclusions

Plans cover reasonable support for the devices listed. Hardware parts, licences from third parties, data recovery, out-of-hours callouts and on-site visits are quoted separately. We may suspend a service where payment fails, where use is abusive, or where continued use would put other customers at risk.

Liability

We provide the services with reasonable skill and care but cannot guarantee that a device will never be compromised or that every file will always be recoverable. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending the agreement

Either party may end the agreement by giving notice before the next renewal. On termination your access to monitoring, antivirus licensing and backup storage ends, and backup data is deleted after the retention period in your plan. Please download anything you need before cancelling.
