Backup that someone actually checks
Every backup product says it runs automatically. Very few actually tell anyone when it stops. The failures we see in the workshop are almost never 'there was no backup software' — they're 'the backup had been failing since March and nobody noticed'.
Our cloud backup reports every job back to us. When a device stops backing up, or a job keeps failing, that becomes something a technician looks at, not a line buried in a log file nobody ever opens.
Where your data actually goes
Your data is encrypted on your own machine before it ever leaves it, then stored in UK-based infrastructure managed by ARK. It is separate from your computer, monitored by us and kept in the United Kingdom.
How far back you can go depends on your plan, so you can bring back not just the latest copy but an earlier one too — which is exactly what you need if the problem is ransomware or a file that quietly got corrupted weeks ago.
Who it's for
Families with photos and documents they couldn't bear to lose. Sole traders whose accounts live on one laptop. Anyone whose current backup is an external drive plugged into the same machine it's backing up — which only helps if the drive itself fails, since theft, fire or ransomware take the backup with it too.

If you'd rather not do it yourself, add remote setup at checkout and a technician will set the first backup up with you, confirm it's actually uploaded, and check nothing important's been missed.
Need more room later?
Storage needs grow over time. You can change your allowance whenever you like from your account; it takes effect straightaway with the price adjusted fairly, and the extra room is added to your backup right away.
